The Do Gooders have a silly name but make a serious impact! When you join the Do Gooders by making a monthly gift, you ensure a safety net for every Tarrant County child. It's the smart way to give!

Consistent generosity makes a difference. When donors give a little each month, it's more than a donation. It's stable, predictable income that charities like ours depend on to serve children. Over time, even modest monthly gifts often exceed the value of a single annual donation, making the one of the most effective ways to give.

Your monthly gift goes further.

• $10 a month: provides a birth certificate for 5 children so they can move out of a

  homeless shelter and enroll in affordable housing

• $25 a month: provides medication for a child while their insurance coverage has lapsed.

• $50 a month: provides dental treatment for one child who is suffering with a toothache.

• $100 a month: provides birth certificates for 52 children to enroll in affordable housing.

Meet Some Do Gooders

Lou Ann Blaylock

Lou Ann has been a wonderful friend to our children for decades. She served as President of the Board of Directors in 2005 and remembers working with Gill’s co-founders fondly. She says, “I can’t resist thinking of how happy both Martine and Ginny would be with the program."

Perry Ginsburg

Perry makes a recurring gift of his grandmother Martine who co-founded Gill Children's Services. "I have had a firsthand view to all of the remarkable work Gill Children's Services does on a daily basis for my entire life. Gill was a central piece in the legacy of my grandmother, Martine Ginsburg. Throughout her life she never missed the opportunity to advocate for the needs of children and to inspire others to do the same. I know she would be incredibly proud of the continued work of Gill and the incredible stewardship of the organization under Peyton and the entire team."

Scott Kirk

Scott is a marketing whiz. Scott served on Gill's Board of Directors for 24 years, and he loves continuing his support by

making a monthly gift. He says, “Life and work can get busy, and it’s easy to forget things you really meant to do. The Gill Do Gooder plan takes care of that for me.” As a Do Gooder, he knows that his regular donations are making an impact. “I like Gill’s Do

Gooder program because it happens regularly. It’s great to know that every month, some good thing happened because Gill was there… and I got to help!”

The Lehrers

Peyton and Logan recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. In honor of that celebration, they make a monthly gift to Gill Children's Services. As the Executive Director, Peyton is fortunate to witness the impact of Gill's mission everyday. "At its core, Gill provides a window when so many doors are shut to children. Because Gill is a small, local mission, I know our monthly gift has an enormous impact." Logan volunteers with Gill during Art in the Square and other fundraising events. Every month, Peyton and Logan are reminded of their commitment to each other and to the community.

Jessica Lewis

Jessica is a marketer for Six Flags Over Texas. She says her phone is a window into her life, "with hundreds of podcast episodes yet to be played and 900% more photos of my cats than of my husband." Having also worked in the nonprofit sector, Jessica has a passion for serving children and amplifying missions. She began volunteering with Gill Children's Services after being connected through the board shadow program in LeadingEdge of Leadership Fort Worth. She has served on the Board of Directors from 2019 to 2026. Jessica makes a monthly gift in honor of her commitment to the mission.

Elizabeth Ray

Elizabeth makes a monthly gift in loving memory of her mother, Ginny, who co-founded Gill Children's Services. "We talked about it most everyday on our morning walk! She cared so much about helping children that had no other place to go. She would tell me about cases that she’d be so proud of. We also talked about new board members and where to find new money so that services can continue. She loved to tell the 'Gill' story. She and Martine were like kids that had discovered something wonderful! I know the Gills’ would be so proud and probably shocked. I’m so proud of Mother and Martine and the legacy they’ve left our community."
